Our article on Employee Climate Surveys speaks to the value of measuring what's working and what's not, using this information to create programs to best utilize our resources. Surveys are instrumental in planning; creating retention strategies and programs as they help us better understand our employees. With limited time, money and other resources, we need to be smart and leverage them to achieve the best results. Our article on Lifetime Settlements again demonstrates the value and versatility of Life Insurance for business and personal financial planning. While we may not know where the economic winds will blow, CRS can help with ensuring you best utilize your resources, whether they are people, money or time. This year it's going to be different! How often do we say this to ourselves, our clients and our employees? The current economy, political arena, and even the weather are shouting for change-----and each force us to consider alternatives and to make the best choices for the times. | | | Employee Climate Surveys- A Powerful Diagnostic Tool | | Are you losing your top talent and don't know why? Are your employees present, but not fully engaged to do their best work?
Successful executives and business owners recognize the value of objective, timely and accurate information to determine the financial health of their organizations. Yet they often rely on their gut feelings, manager comments, frequency of employee complaints, and turnover statistics to determine the general "organizational health" of its people. While turnover statistics (and exit interviews, if done) may tell business leaders how many people have left and perhaps why, it does not tell you what's working, what's not, and most importantly why employees stay. You may also learn why your staff is not fully engaged and motivated to give their best.
